Due to the thickness of the glass and the natural magnification that water creates, everything looks much bigger. The sea bed may be 15ft down but it looks as though it is just under the glass. There is a public address system for your personal commentary of the aquatic world. Roll up the sides of the canopy and include in your commentary, local history, geological formations and of course, those fishy tales. The canopy is necessary to stop the reflections on the glass and so enhance the viewing. Mechanical Systems:

Mercruiser 4.2L turbo diesel 220hp with Bravo 2 leg and stainless steel propeller. This engine has been fully maintained and serviced by mercruiser agents. Manual and automatic bilge pumps with fireproofing sound insulation. This boat has been used for family cruising and fishing and is in top condition. A complete manual of equipment and history is with the boat and ready to go.

ProCharter 50/70 Ferry

Based on the succesful ProCharter 40 range, the ProCharter 50/70 ferry is available for spring delivery.  It can be licensed for 50-70 passengers in the UK and more overseas.  Layout is flexible whether you want an open, partially covered, or closed design.  We currently have a part-built red 40 ft Ferry hull in our yard, the wheelhouse is as yet unfinished and so the ferry can be finished to your specification.

Currently in production at our yard is this 50/70 passenger ProCharter Ferry.  Based on the succesful ProCharter 40 range.  Careful consultation with the MCA has been undertaken to enure all necessary regulations are met to allow this boat to be licensed for up to 50/70 passengers in the UK and more overseas.

The ferry has an extremeley close 'lattice' layout of ribs to provide extra strength and rigidity for carrying in excess of 50 passengers.

Due to the wide beams of our hull design, the ProCharter Ranges have incredible stability making it the ideal platform on which to build a passenger ferry.

Americana

Designed to match a catamaran for deck space with monohull build cost. New design passes the bow wave under the boat for a smooth quiet ride. Low 250HP needed for 17kts cruising

Initially the Americana will have a maximum length of 50 feet (15.25m) and a beam of 16ft (4.9m). After the first boat has been built we will be offering the Americana at up to 55 feet (16.8m). As with most of the Procharter range the Americana is available at the length of your choice, starting even as low as 32 feet for the under 10m work boat licence. For 35 feet and below the Americana will have a different hull form. Imagine the stability of a 10m boat with a 4.9m beam.

The Americana is available with an Island wheelhouse, the conventional sports wheelhouse with five Windows to the front, the sport wheelhouse with a walkway along each side of the wheelhouse at deck level for side entry doors and a half wheelhouse with no fore deck for crabbing. The internal layout of all the wheelhouses will be entirely to the skipper's choice.
